In this episode we talk to Bryan Thomas, a Zhealth practitioner and neurology performance consultant, about what you didn't know about the ketogenic diet.  How the diet originated, the people it's best for and why it may not be right for everyone.

Bryan explains how ketosis spares 3 nutrients some people may be low in and this may explain why ketosis may work well for those people.  Unfortunately the long term side effects of ketosis can be detrimental to a person's health.

Imagine if the same people were treated by taking in those 3 missing nutrients instead of using extreme measures like going into starvation mode to spare the nutrients.  By simply eating the right carbohydrates which help the body produce C02, according to Bryan, you can get the same results as you do in ketosis without aging, more energy and a healthier metabolism.  We talk about this possibility and so much more.
